We’re so proud to announce that Sophie is continuing her dance journey at Rare, moving on from her BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance to study for her BTEC Higher National Certificate in Performing Arts (Dance)!

Sophie has been with us at BDPA for many years, and it’s been incredible to watch her grow both as a dancer and a person. From her early days in class to now pursuing her passion at the next level, her hard work and commitment have always stood out.

We’re so proud of you, Sophie, and excited to see all the amazing things you’ll achieve in this next chapter! 👏💙

💙 A Fond Farewell to Emma 💙

Although this post is a little overdue, we couldn’t let time pass without properly acknowledging the incredible contribution of Miss Emma, who left us at Christmas to begin an exciting new chapter in her career.

Emma has been a cherished part of the BDPA family for many years—starting as a student and later becoming an inspiring teacher, sharing her passion, especially through her work in Acro. Her journey took her from studying her Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Dance at West Lancs College to earning her BA in Dance Performance from Salford University.

While Emma had many aspirations within dance, she discovered a true passion for working with children who require additional support. She’s now thriving in her full-time role in a school setting, making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.

We want to thank Emma for her dedication, hard work, and the positive influence she’s had on so many of our students. She’s left a lasting mark on BDPA, and we miss her dearly.

🎉 Congratulations to Esme! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Esme has achieved a Distinction in her Grade 7 Ballet exam! Her hard work and dedication during private lessons truly paid off. Though she has recently moved away for university, she promises to return and complete her Grade 8 with us. Esme has been an outstanding student, and we are so proud of all she has accomplished. We’ll miss her, but we can’t wait to see what the future holds. Good luck, Esme.

Farewell to Ivon, a cherished member of our Base Dance community. Over the past eight years, Ivon has grown from a passionate breaking student into a vital part of our team, stepping up to teach, cover for others, and contribute to events like Powered by Hip Hop and Calling You Out. As he embarks on his new journey with the Navy, we are confident his dedication and skills will serve him well. Ivon, thank you for your commitment and all the memories—you’ll always have a place at Base Dance.
